Why choose thicker net (7mm) vs thinner (5mm)?
The key to picking a net is typically driven by the age of the player and frequency in which the goal will be used. Typically the older the player and higher frequency the thicker the net. Collegiate and pro players would be recommended to use 6mm and 7mm nets. For high school play and lower 5mm and 6mm nets would be recommended.
