The Traditional pocket has been around since lacrosse has been discovered. It used to be the standard pocket style of choice but since mesh has been created it stands second best. The pocket provides amazing ball control and is best for those players that like to feel the ball whip coming out of there head when passing and shooting. The pocket does require maintenance especially when materials get wet and is not recommended for beginners, but is a classic style pocket to have in any head.
