ELECTRIC GUITAR STRINGS HEAVY: .011 .015 .019 .028w .038 .058 GHS Strings presents the Low Tunes electric guitar strings, a member of their rollerwound family. What is rollerwound, you ask? Most wound guitar strings are made with a wrap wire that is round. While much brighter and more flexible than strings that are made with flat windings, the round windings can produce a lot of finger noise or "squeak". For their rollerwound series, GHS runs the round wrap wire through a set of rollers to somewhat flatten the wire. This semi-flat or "half-round" wrap wire retains the brightness and flexibility but reduces finger noise significantly. This set is acutually the same strings as the Nickel Rockers but is simply a heavy gauge, designed for tuning your guitar down to E flat or D.
